During the past year we have witnessed dramatic changes in the weather patterns throughout the world. Our mission in Tanzania has undoubtedly been affected causing severe food shortages due to the lack of rains.

 

Here at home, we have had our share of problems but we manage to overcome them with the many resources at our deposal. It is not that easy in the developing world. To help alleviate these shortages we ask for your help.

 

We have already shipped several containers (20 tonnes) each of food. We need to send many more containers of basic food staples such as corn meal, rice, and beans to avoid catastrophic conditions.

 

You have helped in the past and it meant a great deal. Please reach out and help us to keep our past efforts and accomplishments alive. The Feast of St. Gaspar is on October 21 and a Solemn Triduum of Masses and prayers begin

October 18. A Novena schedule is enclosed on the back side of this letter. Fill in your petitions and return it to us. These will be placed at St. Gaspar’s altar and prayed for, in a special way, now and throughout the year.
