GROUP FROM PRINCE ALBERT - SK (CANADA) Raised $35,000 for the water system in Nala-Chihoni (Dodoma Tanzania), this will be a blessing to over 800 villagers who didn’t have a clean water source. And this will save them 300tsh they used to spend per 5 liters before the water system.

Special thanks to the group of university students and two adults who raised money to pay for:

  • Well drilling
  • Windmill
  • Two 1500 liter water tanks

For the village.

They also work together with the villagers to implement the system. This project is in conjunction with the Diocese of Prince Albert – SK.

Bishop Albert Thevonot (a White Missionary Priest) worked in Tanzania for 17 years Northwest of Tanzania.

The group also visit other missions ran by the precious blood and brought food and stationary to the respective places.

Medal of Honor

Br. Anthony Canterucci Cpps, founder to the CPPS Water Projects, was awarded the highest honor given to a non Tanzanian by the government of Tanzania. This award was given for Br. Anthony's 40 years of bringing development to Tanzania in water, health, and education projects. President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete of Tanzania presented Br. Anthony the award at a ceremony at the Tanzanian State House on April 25, 2014.

April 26, is Union Day, making the joining of Tanganyika and Zanzibar forming Tanzania. This year marked the 50th anniversary.

Tanzania Education Week 2014.

10th May , 2014 was the closing of the education week in Tanzania. St Gaspar Primary School Dodoma was among the schools that attended.

This year’s theme for the week was “Quality education is possible for all; play your role”. We as C.PP.S Mission Projects have done our part, and still ensure we give quality education to all children we can reach.
